Engineering Capability ::

Our Manufacturing Engineering Department utilizes unique planning tools to develop processes that will consistently produce cost effective quality parts

Capability:

Capable to manufacture fully finished Gear as per relevant DIN standards and assembly of complete Transmission System.

1. FORGING

Close die forging from 0.5kg. to 20 kg., with isothermal annealing.

2. TURNING

PRECISION TURNING of Gears and Shafts up to dia 310 and length 510 within tolerance of 10 micron.

3. CASTING

Arpa 450 and Arpa 900 jolt squeeze-molding line with 2-Ton dual track induction furnace. Suitable for Grey and SG iron precision automotive casting.

4. HOBBING

HOBBING of Gears up to 10 modules, of 400 with CROWNING facility on HURTH CNC, Tapper and straight Hobbing.

5. SHAPING

SHAPING of Gears up to 5 modules, stroke length up to 57mm., Maximum OD 250mm, Maximum Internal Dia cut 170mm.

6. TAPER SHAPING

Maximum 80 TAPER, Dia 150 mm. stroke length 16mm.

7. SHAVING

SHAVING of Gears up to 8 module, Root dia ranging from 10 to 280 mm.

8. INTERNAL GRINDING

Maximum Internal Dia 300mm., stroke length 250mm.

9. EXTERNAL GRINDING

Maximum Dia 260mm., maximum stroke length 800mm. and Surface finish can be achieved upto Ra 0.4 µm.

10. TOOTH ROUNDING

TOOTH ROUNDING of Gears of module up to 15 and maximum Dia 600mm.

11. CHAMFERING & DEBURRING

Dia ranging from 25 to 350mm., working limit of the width Toothed Band is from 4 to 105mm.

12. BROACHING

Internal Broaching done on 25 ton capacity machine of pull type, stroke length 120mm.

13. HEAT TREATMENT (SEALED QUENCH FURNACE)

12.1 Gas carburising & hardening in sealed quench furnances to achieve depth of 0.25 - 2.5 mm. with surface hardness HR 30N 73 to 58/62 HRC, core hardness being 25 to 45 HRC. 12.2.Press/Plug/Hot oil Quenching for minimum distortion.

14. LIQUID NITRIDING (NICARB OR SURSULF)

Hard, Anti-scuffing, anti-seizure nitriding layer withhardness of 400 to 600 VPN, without any distortion.

15. MOLYCOATING (by Thermal Spraying)

Dull matte finished layer with high hardness is anti-scuffing, anti-abrasion and resistant to fretting.

16. SHOT PREENING

Increase fatigue life due to increase in residual compressive stresses on surface and in subsurface of gears.
